Horses and wine? A perfect combination to intrigue our new Chinese friends. Who are they? Amelie Wei, Chinese vlogger and journalist for Phoenix TV in Hong Kong, and Chinese-Italian Ciso, well known among those who study Chinese and fans of China.
They came to visit us intrigued by the words of Oscar and his friends who had come to visit us last year and from our social profile on Weibo thanks to which we became friends a few months ago.
Everything comes from the passion of horses. Even though Amelie and Ciso had only ridden once, they were so impressed by the beauty and wonder of the horse that they contacted us just to go for walks with our Lettera and Alcam (Alcamino for friends).
Two days that began with a visit to our museum and Maria who passionately told the over a thousand works of our collection. Among handicraft horses, donations of paintings by painters, kitsch pieces from all over the world, the atmosphere was full of art and familiarity and we 'spread them out' with our passion.
We told him about the foundation of our museum, our educational purpose for children through the approach to horses and the dream of becoming a cultural bridge with China. All things that caught their attention a lot and that they were happy to hear.
But let's also introduce these young guys a bit. Amelie was commissioned by the Enit to promote the Italian territory on Chinese social networks and we immediately took the ball!
We made her discover all the riches and beauties of our territory within a radius of 30 km. We made her live many unforgettable and unusual experiences, such as the flight on a high-altitude rope of Fly in the Sky in Rocca Massima, or a photo shoot with the historic clothes of the Palio di Paliano.
And then again the visit to the farm and a ride in our countryside with the tractor.
Finally the riding school for a photo shoot and a beautiful walk with our horses. In the stable Amelie stroked our mother Lettera, played a little with the Alcam foal and did a photo shoot with Alessandro Donati, Italian Junior champion in the outfit discipline.
Then a nice horse ride in our stable, Amelie had a lot of fun and she really enjoyed being surrounded by nature and with our beloved horses.
Sunset and evening? What's better than the beautiful Casale Verdeluna that hosted them?
Thanks to the warm welcome of Gabriella and Stefano we immediately felt at home and Amelie took advantage of it for two more photo shoots (at sunset and in the morning) in their beautiful vineyards of Cesanese del Piglio DOCG.
We tasted their wines from the "L'Avventura" farm but the real surprise was the music of 3 guys who played and sang the typical Ciociaria stornelli. A beautiful moment of conviviality and a typically Italian experience. Indeed, Ciociara!
And these are only a part of all the experiences that can be done in the Terre del Cesanese, and we are sure they will come back to see the Pozzo d'Antullo in Collepardo, rafting on the Gari river in Cassino, the waterfall of Isola del Liri, the Valmontone Outlet and above all the growth of our Alcamino.
And we are waiting for them with open arms together and anyone wishing to have these experiences is our welcome!
