The “Red Horses” exhibition is the first to explore the use of color in the representation of horses. Traditionally, red is associated with energy, love, fire, power, and sensuality—emotions reflected in galloping horses.
Many artists have interpreted horses through the color red, using it either to depict the animal itself or as a backdrop, with personal and imaginative approaches.
This is not limited to surrealist works but encompasses a variety of artistic expressions united by the distinctive use of the color red.
