2023: "Grain and Pasta Biodiversity Festival" – September 7, Paliano

The "Grain and Pasta Biodiversity Festival" was a major event marking the opening of the new headquarters of the Horse Museum. Thanks to our collaboration with Donna Vittori - Borgo Agricolo (www.donnavittori.com), we organized a grand celebration dedicated to ancient grains and pasta, symbols of Italy, which was a great success.

We finally realized our dream of opening an art gallery inside Donna Vittori’s winery and tasting room. The gallery includes a permanent exhibition section as well as a space dedicated to temporary art exhibits.

In the permanent section, the exhibition "Love at First Sight" is featured, which had great success in 2022 during the "Eventing" and "Four-in-Hand" World Championships in Rocca di Papa – Pratoni del Vivaro. Additionally, we presented a large reproduction of George Stubbs' famous horse, a beautiful painting by Paola Pericone, and a work by Cascella, along with a gift from China, which depicts our president Maria Vittori with her horse Lettera.

The temporary exhibition section will host different artists or themes with each new event. For September 7, we showcased some of our favorite pieces.

The "Grain and Pasta Biodiversity Festival" was sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty and the Lazio Region, and organized in partnership with the municipality of Paliano.

True to our tradition, we alternated cultural moments with tastings, offering samples of three types of wheat: Cappelli durum wheat, Autonomia B soft wheat, and spelt. The event was a huge success, with over 400 visitors who were able to explore our facilities and enjoy the rich aromas of Donna Vittori's grains.
